Method of Payment - We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Please provide the exact address to which your card is billed to insure timely order shipment and processing.
Sales Tax - Sales tax does not apply to any orders shipped directly from our Michigan location outside the state of Michigan.
Shipping – Buoyant Solutions ships most orders via FedX ground unless otherwise arranged (see below ground shipping cost scale).

Buoyant Solutions, Inc. ground shipping rates apply to the contiguous United States of America only. All other locations incur additional shipping expenses based on the actual weight and dimensions of the packages. Express Shipping – Buoyant Solutions offers express shipping to help meet most deadlines via UPS 3-Day select and UPS 2-Day Air. Express rates are calculated online directly from a UPS web connection. For locations other than the contiguous United States of America, additional shipping and handling expenses may be applicable. Any applicable duties, taxes, and custom charges are the responsibility of the customer. Please contact sales@dockdefender.com for Hawaii, Alaska, or international shipping rates.
* Express Services do not include Saturday Delivery and are available on in- stock merchandise only. Certain items may not qualify for air shipment.
Express orders received by 12:00 PM Eastern time on Monday-Friday will ship the same day. To ensure same-day shipping, you must submit your online order by 12:00 PM EST.
Return Policy - If you are not satisfied with your purchase; please email, fax, call, or write our Customer Service (link to custservice@dockdefender.com) within 30 days from the date you receive shipment of the order. Products returned within 30 days of their receipt, unopened in their original packaging and otherwise in new condition will automatically be exchanged or refunded. A minimum fee of 15% of the price of the product will be charged for inspection, repackaging and restocking for items not returned in their original condition. Products are not returnable after 30 days.
We will exchange the unused/unopened product or refund your purchase price provided that you follow these simple steps:
- Repack the product in the original packaging and place inside a box suitable for shipping with all the original enclosures, parts, and accessories.
- Write the RA number, given to you by Customer Service, clearly and conspicuously on the outside of the package.
- Return it to us postage pre-paid (we do not accept C.O.D.), with the appropriate insurance.
- Shipping and packing fees are non-refundable.
Damaged Goods Shipped - All shipments are audited prior to shipment. However, we suggest that you also thoroughly inspect the items before accepting delivery. If damage is apparent, refuse delivery or if your parcel is left without a signature and damage is found, please contact Customer Service (link to custservice@dockdefender.com) immediately. Do not discard the box or any packaging materials. Most claims must be filed with the carrier within 10 days of receipt of delivery. Buoyant Solutions can assist you in filing a claim, however, our responsibility for damage ends when the carrier accepts the shipment.
Backorders - If an item is not readily available, out of stock, or subject to a manufacturer's delay, a Customer Service representative will notify you. We typically charge all shipping related fees at the time of the first shipment so that you pay only the amount that would be due if your order were shipped all at one time. With few exceptions, no additional delivery fees will be charged for back ordered items when they ship.
Warranty - Buoyant Solutions, Inc. warrants its dockside cushion accessories to be free of defects in workmanship and material under normal use and service and when used for the purposes and under the conditions for which they are intended for a period of two years from original date of purchase. Product failures which Buoyant Solutions, Inc. determines are caused from abuse or neglect will also void the warranty. Obligation under this Warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the defective product. Purchaser must immediately notify Buoyant Solutions, Inc. of the claimed defect. Buoyant Solutions, Inc. shall have the right to inspect said product and Purchaser shall, if requested, return the defective product to Buoyant Solutions, Inc. Buoyant Solutions, Inc. shall not be liable for indirect, special, incidental or consequential damage or penalties and does not assume any liability of Purchaser to others for injury to person or property. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED.
